Stretch Limousine at Crane’s Roost Park

Apollo’s Chariots had teamed up with XL 106.7 and the city of Altamonte for the Taste of Altamonte at Cranes Roost Park.  This annual event has been taking place since 1992 and has continued to get larger year after year.  Local bars and restaurants set up tents and stations surrounding the beautiful lake at Uptown Altamonte.  Food and drink samples are offered as participants can make their way from booth to booth trying a variety of different cuisines.  Apollo’s Chariots had one of its stretch limousines on display with the XL 106.7 tent playing some tunes with host mc Johnny Magic saying hi to fans.

The lake itself is a beautiful backdrop to this event.  Some of the lines move quicker than others depending on the samples being provided.  Some of the restaurants present were Omaha Steakhouse, Tijuana Flats, Tilted Kilt, and PF Changs.  The event is put on by the Altamonte Springs Rotary Club and focuses on raising funds to support local charities.  More information can be found on their website at http://altamonterotary.org/.  Cost of the tickets are $30 if purchased ahead of time or $35 at the event gates.  There are usually various Groupons offering half off the ticket price.  This is definitely an event you don’t want to miss.  Great variety of food and drinks, music and a beautiful stretch limousine with the lake at Crane’s Roost Park, Uptown Altamonte in the background.
