Guide to Wedding Limos

Transportation is a very important part of any wedding day.  While a wedding limousine is by far the most popular of the vehicles, there are many other transportation options utilized that make this special day run even smoother.  

Transportation helps bring all the different phases of the wedding day together.  How will the bridal party get to the ceremony? To the picture location? To the reception?  How will the newly married couple get to their hotel after the reception? How will out-of-town guests get from the hotel to the ceremony to the reception and back?  These are just a few of the questions that commonly get overlooked during the planning stages of a wedding.

The most common wedding transportation is a stretch limousine.  This vehicle is typically used to take care of the wedding party for the day.  It transports them in style from where they’re getting ready to the ceremony.  After the ceremony, the bridal party is met by the wedding limousine with Red Carpet service and “Just Married” signs as they pop a bottle of champagne to toast the newly married couple.  If pictures are the next event on the agenda, the limousine will take them to the picture location and finally dropping them off at the reception.

After the reception, most couples will rent a “getaway car” to take them to their hotel.  Some couples prefer a more private vehicle like a luxury sedan or SUV.
