 The summer is the perfect time to explore the beautiful gardens of Central Florida.

 

  1. Harry P. Leu Gardens

The 50-acres of beautiful cultivated gardens are filled with over 40 plant collections including the Rose Garden, Butterfly Garden, and the Herb Garden amongst many others. At the heart of the Gardens is the Leu House Museum, Harry P. Leu and his wife, Mary Jane’s 19th century home.

  1. Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens

This beautiful space is filled with the works of Czech sculptor, Albin Polasek. You can visit the Polasek residence and chapel, an outdoor sculpture garden and a gift shop during the tour of the museum.

  1. Bok Tower Gardens

Every day the Carillon bells are played from the Singing Tower and music fills the air of the gardens. This sets the scene for a peaceful, picturesque day surrounded by tall trees and luscious plant life. There is much to do here including going on a guided tour, bird watching, and geocaching.

  1. Kraft Azalea Garden

This is the perfect park to come and relax being surrounded by cypress trees. The beautiful arch-like structure, the Exedra Monument, is the perfect spot for breathtaking pictures.

  1. Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens

This is a great place for the whole family. You can experience so much including seeing over 400 animals from around the world and 23 acres of native gardens. If that’s not enough, they also offer an aerial adventure course, ZOOm Air Adventure Park, and special animal encounters.
